Dog lovers unite: New to the Flower Show this year is the whimsical Dog Show, which features "stuffed forms" in the shape of beagles, poodles, and other breeds of man's best friend. Woof!

Covering well over 10 acres, a day at the Philadelphia Flower Show requires a fair amount of walking. So come and rest your tingling toes at the Gardener’s Studio, sponsored by Subaru.

Conveniently located in Hall B of the Show floor, you’ll witness demonstrations from regional experts on a range of gardening topics. Bring a notepad, too--there’s lots to learn!

If you have a craving for Spring color, come to the "Grow It" section in Hall B. There, you will find tulips, daffodils, crocuses and other spring bulbs, all blooming by the thousand.

You can also see which pots take home the coveted blue, red and yellow ribbons, as all of these plants are all part of the exciting competitions that have long been a hallmark of the Philadelphia Flower Show.

Looking for the ideal Flower Show souvenir? It can only be found in one place: The PHS Shoppe. Located between the themed exhibits in Hall A and the competitive classes in Hall B, this bountiful bazaar has everything from sweatshirts to lush silk scarves. In addition to official Flower Show memorabilia (e.g. mugs, pins, t-shirts and the Show DVD), the Shoppe also offers furnishings for the home and garden.

Titled Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler, or “Let the Good Times Roll” for those who don’t speak French, this display is the creation of The Ponds & Gardens of Limekiln, based in Glenside, PA.

Denise Twelkmeyer sculpted the exhibit’s amphibian band and even designed their intricate costumes. “Pay attention to the details,” Denise dishes. “Even the one frog’s mask is made of plant materials.”
