2009 Preview
Reception and Dinner
An exclusive “black tie” gala, the
Preview Reception and Dinner is one of Philadelphia’s premier social events.
Guests from all over the world enjoy this delightful celebration
of the Philadelphia Flower Show on Saturday, February 28, the night before it opens to the
public. Taste delicious hors d’oeuvres and cocktails while
strolling through the beautiful garden displays of the Show. Afterwards,
enter the Grand Ballroom to savor a gourmet dinner.
By attending the Preview Reception Dinner, you will enjoy
a fun and elegant evening and also help support PHS’s outreach
efforts, including its acclaimed greening program, Philadelphia

Show
Exhibits
Find inspiration for your own garden, your
wedding, or some other special occasion at the Flower
Show. Breathtaking gardens and special floral exhibitions and demonstrations
will teach as well as inspire no matter what your gardening experience.
And, with the price of admission you will have access to this region’s
most accomplished horticulturists, landscape and floral designers

Vendors
When
you visit the impressive Flower Show Marketplace, you’ll find
high quality orchid plants, beautiful fresh-cut flowers including
calla lillies, easy-to-use gardening tools, custom patio furniture,
handcrafted “floral” jewelry, dried flower arrangements,
unique containers, baskets and vases, gifts galore. More than 140
vendors from all over the world gather at the Show each March to
sell their great gardening wares. Also visit PHS’ Philadelphia
Flower Show Shoppe in the Main Exhibition Hall for official Show

Special Show Events
The
Show is a wonderland of inspiration and learning. More than 500
free educational programs for Show guests from beginners to experts
are conducted during Show week. Luxurious attractions such as The
All Star Culinary presentations will delight
