Flower Show garden display exhibitors undertake
the art of forcing trees, shrubs and perennials into bloom for the
Show, using temperature and lighting controls to “fool”
plants into full bloom in time for the March event.
Indeed,
one of the reasons the Philadelphia International Flower Show is considered the
premier gardening event of its kind in the world is due in large
part to the exceptional talent of these designers and their ability
to exhibit such a great variety of exceptional plants for the Show.
