Noted floral designer, lecturer, and author Hitomi Gilliam will lead a fascinating presentation on the latest trends in floral arrangement. Titled "NeoTropica 2012/2013," this demonstration of cutting-edge design will shock purists and push limits!

Easy-going and internationally renowned, Hitomi is a true superstar in the design community. Not only will you see her in action, but a lucky few will take home her tropical creations via random drawing. The demonstration will be followed by a reception with light refreshments and a cash bar. Hitomi will also be available to sign copies of her book ‘ARTFLOR.'

Friday, March 9: Meet Melissa Gorga

On Friday, March 9, visitors will get to meet the latest member of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Melissa Gorga. Melissa recently partnered with Voli Lyte Vodka, the first line of low calorie flavored vodkas, as their reality ambassador. Melissa will be signing bottles from 5 - 7 pm in the Grand Hall. No special ticket or pass required.

Saturday, March 10: Meet Bethenny Frankel

On Saturday, March 10, PA Wine & Spirits Stores will present a very special opportunity for Flower Show visitors to meet and greet entrepreneur and television personality Bethenny Frankel!

The celebrated natural food chef, creator of Skinnygirl cocktails, and The New York Times best-selling author will be signing bottles from her Skinnygirl line of products. Frankel, a noted “health foodie” and attendee of the National Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts, focuses on sharing her knowledge and passion for healthy living. Her Skinnygirl Cocktails are currently one of the fastest growing spirits brands in the world.

Bethenny will sign bottles in the Grand Hall from 2:30 - 4:30 pm on Saturday, March 10. No special ticket is required.

Following the bottle signing, from 4:30 - 6:30 pm, you can enjoy an intimate VIP experience with Bethenny (complete with photo opp) and be among the first to sample new additions to the Skinnygirl product line, making their debut at the Flower Show. THE VIP EVENT HAS SOLD OUT, please attend the bottle signing.

Family Fun!

The Flower Show has always been focused on families, but this year the activities are bigger and better than ever! In conjunction with Universal Studio’s 2012 release of “The Lorax,” PHS has arranged a meet-and-greet with the Lorax himself! Say hello and snap a picture with the tree-loving creature and characters PBS KIDS Sprout television on Sundays, March 4 and March 11 from 2 - 5 pm.

Also on Sundays at 2 pm in the Family Lounge---sponsored by Einstein Healthcare Network---children can enjoy an exclusive reading of “The Lorax” by two very special guests: Lisa Nutter, wife of the Mayor, on March 4 and WXPN Kids’ Corner host Kathy O’Connell on March 11.

Show your support for PHS and its programs by attending the PHS Community Brunch. Enjoy a sumptuous meal, hear from PHS president Drew Becher, discover what's in store for 2012, and escape to the Hawaiian Islands as you explore all the Flower Show offers. Also get an update on the renowned City Harvest initiative.
